Aviation Industry Research (AIR) is DVB Bank's in-house research and analysis unit, established to further enhance the bank's established expertise in the commercial aircraft market and to provide unbiased asset analysis and recommendations for the benefit of aircraft operators and investors.
The unit has developed its own methodology of analysing and projecting future aircraft values as well as asset liquidity, based on aviation business cycles, aircraft technology and life-cycles as well as the state of the air finance market.
By utilising its extensive in-house capabilities, DVB Bank is expert in evaluating market risks and can assist clients in optimising equipment finance structures. DVB Bank's advisory clients benefit from a cross-sector approach in which the bank's extensive research capabilities are utilised in conjunction with advisory projects.
The research team includes experienced aviation professionals with airline, OEM, leasing and aircraft appraisal backgrounds.
