DVB Bank AG: 10-for-1 share split

Following the successful conclusion of its capital increase, DVB carries out a 10-for-1 share split, as resolved by the Annual General Meeting on 11 June 2008: each notional no-par value bearer share (Stückaktie – "unit share") with a proportionate share in the share capital of about EUR25.6 per unit share will be split into ten bearer unit shares with a proportionate share in the share capital of about EUR2.56 per unit share. Shareholders' existing percentage stake in the share capital will thus not be affected by the split. Following the share split, DVB Bank AG's issued share capital will be divided into 46,467,370 bearer unit shares. The new shares will retain the same ISIN DE0008045501.

On the evening of 15 August 2008, custodian banks will re-book securities account positions in DVB Bank AG shares in a 10-for-1 ratio, posting ten new unit shares into shareholders' securities accounts for each old unit share held previously. Shareholders of DVB Bank AG do not need to take any action to effect the split; re-posting of the new shares will be free of charge for shareholders. Existing stock exchange orders will lapse at the close of trading on 15 August 2008. The DVB Bank share will be traded "ex split" on 18 August 2008.

The purpose of the share split is to facilitate trading in DVB Bank shares, making them more attractive for retail investors.
