Jon Skirrow to head DVB Bank's new Aviation Asset Management team
DVB Bank AG, the Frankfurt-based bank which specialises in transport finance, today announces that Jon Skirrow will join DVB in London as the head of its new Aviation Asset Management platform with effect from January 1, 2007. Jon moves to DVB from BAE SYSTEMS where, since 2001, he was leading the Aircraft Trading and Management Services business, and is joined by his Trading and Services colleagues, Toby Iles (Head of Commercial) and Nick Moore (Director). Paul Nolan, who started the activity for DVB five years ago, also joins the team.
As well as continuing to service asset management requirements of DVB, an active Aviation lender and investor, the Aviation Asset Management team will provide third-party aircraft remarketing, lease management, technical and general consultancy services to airlines, lessors, investors and financial institutions active in the sector. This activity will be an integral part of DVB Aviation's business platform and will complement its advisory, arranging, lending and investing businesses. Jon will report to David Goring-Thomas, DVB's Global Head of Aviation.
