Michel Dembinski joins DVB's Aviation Division

DVB Bank AG, the Frankfurt-based bank that specialises in transport finance, today announces that Michel Dembinski will join the Bank's Aviation Division in London as a Senior Vice President with effect from 3 October 2005. Mr Dembinski will be responsible for Aviation Financial Consultancy in respect of DVB's aviation clients. This will encompass areas such as debt fund raising for aviation and aircraft finance, aircraft sale/leaseback transactions, financial aspects of aircraft purchase contracts, aircraft purchase versus operating lease solutions, debt restructuring and distressed debt and/or leasing situations (work-outs). Mr Dembinski will report to David Goring-Thomas, DVB's Global Head of Aviation. Bertrand Grabowski, a Member of the Board of Managing Directors of DVB who is responsible for the Bank's aviation finance activities, commented: "DVB is recognised as a leading arranger, underwriter and provider of risk capital in aviation finance. We are therefore delighted that a banker of Michel´s calibre is set to join our team as an Aviation Financial Consultant. His extensive experience as a senior investment banker, successful track record and acknowledged expertise will naturally complement DVB's corporate finance advisory/M&A, structured asset finance and investment management activities." Mr Dembinski joins DVB from New Boston Partners where he held the post of Director Investment Banking. Prior to this he held various positions at Credit Agricole Indosuez (now Calyon, formerly Banque Indosuez) in Paris, Tokyo and New York, including almost eight years as Director of Aerospace Group (Americas).
